Everybody's talking about all these micro dramas! vertical videos! short dramas! What are these things? We have great people like Eileen and others among us that can help us figure it out. Let's all hop on video call and share knowledge, learn from our experts among us. Tune in to get a little bit smarter. Emergency Sessions are calls that we at Mission Cinema bring together when something's buzzing, something's impossible to ignore. Be on the lookout. We're here to navigate these sudden moments! We start with an expert, but we invite everyone to share their experiences. Communal learning at its best. Our lead is Eileen Kaur Alden! She is a product leader and working writer at the intersection of AI and vertical storytelling. She completed her first vertical drama series through Isabel Dréan's incubator program, has several series in development, and placed 3rd in the Voltage Verse AI Screenwriting Competition. She's the founder of WriteRocketIQ.com, an analytics platform for vertical microdrama content, and moderates Deadline Junkies, a weekly writers' group with actor-cast table reads, and recently launched a new Vertical Writer Tableread series. She's an active volunteer with Machine Cinema (SF) and #MakeItBay, and brings both a creator's eye and a data nerd's obsession with what makes vertical content actually work.
