## Description
Hey everyone, This Wednesday 10-1115am PT / 1-215pm ET is our weekly digital get together to connect on how we are all making our way through this new era for creative industries and AI among other emergent technologies, sharing ideas, tips, knowledge amongst ourselves. Our group is an amazing mix of creators/ producers/ builders/ some new to this stuff/ some OG/ all of us constantly learning. This week we have: Jesse Wellens is a filmmaker, digital pioneer, and Creative Director at the forefront of AI-powered storytelling. As one of the original social media creators to build an audience of over 20 million subscribers, Jesse helped shape the modern creator economy through cinematic YouTube content, viral storytelling, and fearless experimentation. Today, he bridges traditional filmmaking with cutting-edge generative AI as the creative force behind Death Row AI, developing bold visual experiences and next-generation media alongside iconic cultural brands. From directing narrative films to building scalable AI content pipelines, Jesse’s work blends technology, culture, and cinematic craft. Rooted in Philadelphia and driven by a mission to inspire growth and consciousness — a true “Mind Glow Up” — he continues to push storytelling into the future while staying grounded in purpose, creativity, and impact. His most recent collab with Snoop made a splash as the rapper’s entry into the Seedance 2.0 conversation of the last few weeks: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DU\_OqJrCDZk/?utm\_source=ig\_web\_copy\_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Halsey Burgund is a new media artist and Emmy-winning interactive director whose work focuses on the combination of modern technologies - from mobile phones to artificial intelligence - with fundamentally human “technologies”, primarily language, music and the spoken voice. He is the creator of Roundware, the open source contributory audio AR platform, which has been used to create art and educational installations for cultural organizations internationally. Halsey’s recent work has focussed on the societal challenges posed by artificial intelligence, in particular synthetic media and generative AI. Halsey was a Smithsonian Artist Research Fellow, a Research Affiliate at the MIT Media Lab, an affiliate in Harvard's metaLAB and is currently Creative Technologist in Residence at the MIT Open Documentary Lab. Among his many works is the groundbreaking short utilizing deepfake tech “In the Event of Moon Disaster”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWLadJFI8Pk
