## Description
Page One Accelerator — by Machine Cinema 6 weeks. One cohort. Take an idea all the way to a finished, pitchable project using AI-native tools. You've been to a GenJam. You know the feeling — the creative chaos, the speed, the surprise of what you can make in a single session. Now imagine a series of GenJams, with mentors, and a longer program to work and refine your IP and content. That's Page One. The goal is simple: finish with a piece of work that's market ready and positioned to attract funding. Not a side project you'll come back to someday. Something you can actually put in front of a platform, a partner, or an investor. The tools for making stories, shows, games, and visual worlds have changed faster in the last eighteen months than in the previous decade. You already know this — you've felt it firsthand. But weekend sprints only get you so far. Nobody's been giving creators like you the time, structure, or support to actually finish something and take it somewhere. Page One fills that gap. It's a cohort-based accelerator run across six weeks, with in-person sessions at Digital Garage in San Francisco and online sessions in between. A small, intentional group of creators working together to turn an idea into a complete, presentable body of work — pitch package, visual identity, and everything you need to take it to the next stage. Not a sketch. Not a proof-of-vibes. Something real you can actually show people. What you'll make You move through a structured creative arc with in-person and online sessions, guided work time, and regular feedback from mentors and your cohort. You'll finish with a pitch package plus one of the following: Episodic Series — 3 episodes with characters, story arc, and visual identity Visual Narrative — A storyboard or multi-page comic that serves as a visual bible Interactive Prototype — A game-adjacent or interactive experience in a new format Who it's for Filmmakers, artists, writers, designers, creative technologists, and small teams who already have an idea they want to develop. You're looking for structure and community — not a tutorial. You see AI as a creative tool, not a magic button. And you're ready to commit six weeks of real effort. You don't need a finished script or a polished deck. You need curiosity and the willingness to show up. (No team yet? Note that in your application — you can find collaborators on day one.) How it works Format: Cohort-based, 6 weeks, intentionally small Schedule: We'll shape the program around the cohort's availability, but there is one non-negotiable: at least one meetup per week, together, as a group. Everything else — additional online sessions, work time, crits — gets built around your schedules In Person: Weekly sessions at Digital Garage, San Francisco (food + drinks provided) Online: Critiques, work sessions, and pitch practice between in-person meetups Demo Day: Final presentations to an invited audience of industry people, potential partners, and folks who can actually help your project get to the next stage What you get Expert feedback from experienced creators and industry professionals, access to the latest AI production tools, connection to Machine Cinema's global network, a polished pitch package, a Demo Day audience that includes people in distribution and funding, and alumni network access after the program ends. Built on two years of real experience. We've run 100+ GenJam events across multiple countries, with partnerships with Google, ByteDance, OpenAI, and Luma AI — and a community of 2,000+ active creators. We know what gets people stuck and what it takes to go from experiment to finished work. Page One is that experience, extended. ⚠️ Please note: This is a pilot program. Page One is our first time running something like this, and we want to be upfront about that. Participants should come in knowing this is an experiment — we're building it carefully, but we're also learning as we go. Your feedback and experience will directly shape how this program evolves. This is the first of many. We plan to run Page One repeatedly across multiple creative hubs globally, with San Francisco as our first home base. If this cohort goes well, expect more cities, more cohorts, and a more refined program each time. One more thing to know: as part of running this program, we are considering taking a small equity or revenue stake in projects that come out of it. We haven't finalized the terms, and we'll be transparent with every participant before anything is agreed to. But we want you to go in with eyes open. The cohort is small on purpose. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. 👉 Apply Now
